Open Question: Best/cheapest prepaid cellular phone card to be used from Malaysia?
Hello!
I live in the USA, and I have a VERY DEAR friend of mine who lives in the town/city of Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia. She’s going through a LOT of REALLY BAD issues and she currently has no source of income. Although she can receive text and voicemail messages, she doesn’t want to check them (since she barely has any credits left on her cell phone). I’m trying to assist her and provide information (names of people, organizations and their phone numbers to assist her with her difficulties). I’d like to help her by adding more minutes to her cell phone. Offhand, I don’t know who her cell phone service provider is, the make & model of her cell phone, nor what type of pre-paid cell phone plan she may already have (if she has one). I’m trying to find the BEST and CHEAPEST prepaid cellular international phone/calling card for her that she can use in Malaysia. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I’ve asked a fellow friend of ours, also in Malaysia, to call her & find out the info on her cell phone, cell phone service provider, pay plan, etc., and I’ll post it here (if it’s necessary). The last few days, my calls to her kept getting dropped/disconnected. My thanks and appreciation in advance!
Most sincerely,

Greetings Robinson126!
Thank you kindly for your response! Is this what you’re referring to when you mention ‘DIGI’?

I’ll contact them anyway & relay the situation to them. Obviously, since I live in the USA and I’d be using US dollars with my VISA credit card (instead of your currency, Malaysian ringgits), I hope this wouldn’t pose any difficulty. Once again, thank you kindly for your response; I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!
ALL THE BEST,
Ken Mac Pherson

Resolved Question: Can someone get a ticket for using an Ipod while driving a car ?
I was driving a yellow cab in Manhattan on 101609 . At 7.30 PM I got pulled over by a police officer who says that he noticed my car because it was the only one which had a tv screen on top . ( They recently started to install these type of screens for commercial purposes . ) When I asked the guy what did I do wrong he told me that he saw a light in the car that he figured it was from a cell phone !!!!! I tried to explain him that I was using my Ipod ( a regular Ipod , not an Iphone ) and I had my headphones connected to it . I even showed him my Ipod . He wrote me a ticket for ” operating vehicle while use on cellular phone “. Also the address that he wrote is not the same as the the address in my driver license .
