Open Question: iPhone 2g Data plan question?
I got an iPhone 2g (not 3G) as an early Christmas present from my brother since he got his new phone after a 2 year contract. My previos phone was a free refurbished Samsung phone. I decided to use the iphone and when i put the SIM in, i had to activate the phone. however I jailbroke + activated the phone to bypass the iTunes window and put on the fake APN thing so i do not use the data plan. also i used bossprefs to turn off the edge toggle so no accidental E pops up on the status bar.
a) Will AT&T detect that I’m using an iPhone now that the SIM card from my previous phone is in there?
b) If so, will they automatically put the data plan on the iPhone now that the SIM is in there?
c) since i can’t use the edge network because i’m not subscribed to a cellular network due to the fake APN, will AT&T still find their way and charge me with the monthly data plan?
All I can do is just use wifi and the phone feature. that’s all i need. I’m just concerned about this situation of whether I might get charged for data plan or not.
Open Question: does the lg tritan for us cellular locks pictures maybe you dont want others to see?

im on u.s. cellular.. and my phone won’t charge for some reason. i have another phone i can use, its one of my old ones. I know that if I drive to beatrice i can get it switched, but with the bad weather i don’t want to have to drive there. one of my friends told me they think i can get it switched somehow through the internet. how do you do that?
