Open Question: questions about the iphone 3G s?
ok my mum and sis and i each got an iphone 3G s.
1. my mum can not go on the weather chanel or stocks or google maps and it comes up with could not activate cellular data network. i would like to no how to fix this and how to fix this.
2. the phones have a bluetooth setting. i have heard they do not come with bluetooth. if they do how do you get it to work. there is no option to send things via bluetooth and the phone cannot be found by other bluetooths. it also never finds other phones but says searching for devices. is there a way i can make bluetooth work.
3. i downloded some free apps for the phone and some dont seem to cost me anything when i use them. some do and i worked out that they connect to the internet so it costs me. i was wondering if i bought a game like the sims 3 or an app that i think dosent use the internet, after the inital cost would it cost me to use it?
4. what are some stuff i can do with the phone cause its pretty boring at the moment and im not sure what to downlode and buy.
Open Question: Is the US Cellular 3G network any good?
I currently have US Cellular and was thinking of upgrading to a smart phone such as the HTC Touch Pro, as my contract is up shortly. I was wondering if anybody has had experience with their 3G network as compared to other carriers such as AT&T. If 3G connectivity is anything like their “EasyEdge” I don’t think it would be worth the additional $25.00/mo.
Also, if I bought a US Cellular smart phone on eBay and had customer service switch my account over to the new phone would I still have to sign a new contract to use internet or could I just add it on to my existing plan–and could I cancel the internet plan an switch back to my old Motrola Razr V3M later if I wanted to?
Thanks for any input.
