Open Question: Should I buy the Motorola Q9c? Buying advice Please!?
Hello–
I am interested in purchasing the Motorola Q9c Smartphone for Us Cellular. Right now I simply have the v9 razor, which I love, however, I would really like a blackberry or smartphone. Is this phone a good choice? I have looked at the blackberry curve and like that phone as well, and have heard good things about it from friends, however, I really like the look of the q9c. One other note… I am a mac user, and I know this phone is windows platform. I am not planning on setting it up with an email client, or transferring music. I am interested in just surfing the web, checking email (gmail/hotmail), using apps such as facebook, myspace, etc…
Any advice is welcome:)

Open Question: Any good books on helping a child cope with separated parents?
My daughter is 10. She use to love spending time with me, even said she wished she could live with me. her mom lives 180 miles away so I don’t get to see daughter that often, but this year has been horrible; She has spent a total of 10 days with me, and her attitude seems to have changed.
Her mom has a boyfriend that sorta lives with her now, and he has a kid close to my daughters age that he gets occasionally.
10 minutes after I picked up my daughter to spend a few weeks with me she asked to call her mom. I let her, but all she did was cry saying she wants to get picked up the next day. I even had my two nieces in the car to entertain each other while I drive.
the following day she snuck my brothers cellular phone and called her mom again, crying and asking to be picked up..
I don’t understand what is happening, and I don’t want to yell at her, because that will just make things worse.
But, today I get out of the shower, and I hear a knock at the door. I answer it and it was the police. I am thinking something happened in the neighborhood, until he told me that he got a call that a little girl called 911 from here and was crying badly saying her dad wont let her go home.
WOW was I shocked.. the police had a talk with me, then her and told her she can’t be doing that just because she dont get her way.
anyhow… I need help on how I can help her cope with whatever it is that is troubling her emotionally.
I could go on and on with details, but I have her for a few more weeks and I want to help her. Is there a book anyone can recommend about how to handle these situations?
