Open Question: Phone dropped in bath?): ?
So I have a Samsung touch from U.S. cellular and I dropped my phone in the bath early this morning. I grabbed it out like not even 1O seconds it was in the water. So I jumped out of the tub and took the battery out and the back off. I used the blow dryer and it seemed to help. But I turned it on and there’s two little water spots. It seems to work fine. But now I have it in rice till overnight. But I haven’t told my mom. So will the rice work? I have until tomorrow morning at like 8:00 because thats when I leave for school. Will it work? Thanks. /:

Open Question: Wal Mart’s Straight Talk Phone Plans?
We’d like to get a phone for our daughter, something that gives her unlimited texting and a few talk minutes (because we want to talk, not text, with her). Don’t want a contract. I’ve kind of looked at these Straight Talk plans at Wal Mart. Some phones have the “full keyboard” and it seems like you can set up to reload automatically. Anyone have these plans to say if they’re good or bad?

Also, I see other plans, like Virgin Mobile but I’m getting lost in all their charging details. Also Boost Mobile seems nice because you can start saving $5/month for every 6 on-time payments you make. So I assume you get a bill in the mail instead of having to auto reload?

Right now I am with Consumer Cellular. I pay $15/month for 250 minutes, which I never ever use. I don’t text, I just use the phone when I need to, which isn’t much. I have no contract and get a bill in the mail every month. Seems with these other plans you have to reload your account every 30 days or your service will stop. Not a biggie once you get used to it, but I’m mostly just looking for the best cheapest and BEST QUALITY plan for my daughter. She’ll 99% text but needs a few talking minutes to speak with her parents.

Anything good or bad to say about customer service, quality or coverage areas of any of these plans?

Open Question: Can an off-contract Droid 2 be used as voice-only cell phone on Verizon?
I have Verizon’s family plan. I only have a voice cell phone. My wife has a Droid 2 with voice and data. She’s going to upgrade to the latest greatest and continue using data. Can I switch her old Droid 2 to my voice only plan as my primary cell phone without having to buy a data plan? I don’t need data, just want to use the Droid 2 as a cell phone. Of course, I’d like to use Android apps and use the wi-fi feature to access internet when wi-fi access is available. When there’s no wi-fi available, I’ll just do without internet.

I want it so that my wife has her new smartphone on her line with voice and data, and I have her old Droid 2 on my line with only voice service. Is this doable, and how?

His cousin and friends did too. I am hydroceplaus and I made my head and shunt hurt. Because of him. I think I might have to go for head surgery if the pain does not away. About 5 yrs I been liking him. When it was valentines day i wish him and he wish me back happy valentines day to u to. I feel like he is lying to me that he is engaged? I really him that i ruin my health.i said to him that he shud break his engagement he said did not have a choice?? then after 2 weeks I said again then he said i am gettin marry to my choice. lol marry cousin gives birth defect kids????? He said to me that he does not give a **** where i am born, you ****** don’t get it, i’ll ruin your life. I know why he said those things because maybe he thinks i am to good for him? Open Question: How do I get a phone number back?
I bought my phone in CT in 2006 at TMobile with a 203 phone number, switched to Verizon in 2008 later, to Straight Talk (operated by Verizon) in 2010 and then to Page Plus Cellular (operated by Verizon) in 2011.In January 2012 I moved to Florida and change my number to a 561 number. Now I am moving back to CT and I REALLY need that old number back, I am a pc technician and have more than 500 clients that only have the old number. Is it possible to get the 203 number back? Open Question: Buy Android Smartphone or expensive headphones?
I’ll be going on a few trips this summer and want to make some sort of bigger purchase to use while traveling. What I’m thinking is either an Android phone or some nice headphones (~$130) to replace my ear-buds. I have US Cellular too so not the best selection of 4G phones at the moment. One pro to waiting on the phone upgrade could be getting the iPhone 5 when it comes out and selling my iPod Touch 4th generation for it. Any suggestions for which way to go?

Open Question: US Cellular Cell Phone Question?
My husband and I had US Cellular, and our phones got shut off because we couldn’t afford them. We have a past due balance. I was wondering, if someone else could use our phones still, or is there some kind of block to where no one can use them? If there is some kind of block then how would I go about taking the block off?

Open Question: Trouble with HTC Merge, Android Phone – The Display doesn’t come on half the time.?
Okie, so, first, to clarify again, the phone is an HTC Merge, running on Android.
The carrier is US Cellular.
Now, to the issue.

Half the time, when I try to hit the unlock / power key, only the hardware keys light up, and the actual display does not come on. It is still functioning, as the notifications still run, but for some reason, the display refuses to turn on. I try resetting it, holding the lock key, using the flip function, and so on, with very little avail.

Any help, save for saying, “Take it to your carrier! *Captain obvious*”, will be greatly appreciated.

So I have been with my girlfriend for a year now and I love her to death but there has been some odd stuff going on that are just not sitting well with me. She has a few “GUY” friends that I am not too sure about and just rub me the wrong way (one is an ex boyfriend that 100% wants her back!). Anyways Im thinking of getting some sort of sell phone spy software but it is hard to tell the fakes from the real ones. If anybody has used this kind of software in the past please give me the name of the software so I can check it out. Website and testimonial couldn’t hurt haha. Thanks! Oh by the way she has cheated on at least one guy in the past so that is way I am kind of worried.
Also money is not a huge issue because I want something that WORKS! So don’t be afraid to suggest higher end software. I mean I obviously can not be dropping a lot on this but I would say that I would be willing to pay maybe up to $200 for something that will do it’s job. Thanks again!

Open Question: Why is my memory card saying it’s full?
I’ve asked this question before, but I didn’t mention that it was for my cell phone. peopleI I think people gave me instructions for the computer..
or, I’m not sure.. but.
either way, I had a 8GB memory card, and it said almost low on space, so I bought a 16GB micro sd card for my Samsung Admire (with Metro PCS).. I’ve already transfered everrything I had onto this phone.
and it was good and I had lots of extra space.
I’ve just connected it to my laptop, and it says it’s 14.8GB (WHY, I thought I bought a 16GB memory card?? >:( ), and it says I’ve only used up 11.9GB…

so since it looks like I have tons of space to use..
WHY does it keep telling me that I’m low on space?? >=/
can you help me look for the files that might be taking up space on my phone, or something.. ?

I asked him why don’t have that many girls on FB he said he does not need girls? But I said why did u add me. I said I am your friend right….he said yea. I also asked him does he like chatting with me he said yea.
We were in same class in HS but not friends. I send him a FB request.
I wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a great one. He wrote thanks on his wall? that was the only time he commented back.
When it was Diwali. he wished me online and I said same to you…happy diwali.
So when it was EID he posted it on his status. Then I send him a message on FB. Eid mubarak and he said same to u eid mubarak.
On the first of college I saw him while I was going to my class. I waved at him and said Hi. He just smile walking down the hallway with his guy friend.

When it was Diwali. he wished me online and I said same to you…happy diwali.
So when it was EID he posted it on his status. Then I send him a message on FB. Eid mubarak and he said same to u eid mubarak.
On the first of college I saw him while I was going to my class. I waved at him and said Hi. He just smile walking down the hallway with his guy friend.
In the summer one day he saw me on fb at 3:00 am. Ask me what am I doing up? I said not sleeping yet, then he signed off
In the summer we chatted at 1 or 2 hours at 2:00am we did that twice.

I saw him with my guy friend in cafe they were buying lunch. I did not see them until my guy friend said my name.But this guy just said wat’s up to me and smiled. I said Hi and waved at him. when I was in the library I speed walk by one room I saw him with his friends. I smiled at him. He smiled back.If I comment on his wall he does not comment back or delete those comments but leaves it? I just send him a message on FB to ask him what time should I call him tmr. He said he only messages girls and not talk with them on phone. I said to him don’t be shy from me. I said I used to be shy from you lol. I feel like you don’t like me and don’t want to be my friend. Then he said no it’s not and I am not shy
2 weeks ago I was driving on the highway to go college I think he saw me driving. he was driving fast.Then I send him message on FB. lolll I saw you today…you were driving fast. Were u getting late for ur class. After that I txted him on his cell and asked him did you get my message on FB. he said yea and he replied to the message. That’s just how I drive. After 1 hr he texted me on my cell wat car was I driving? I told him toyota camry. I said don’t you drive one too. He said yea and that was you? Just be careful cause there was a cop. Then I replied back to him.Thanks I will cya good night.

2 weeks ago I send him a text. I said Hey what’s up. He repiled back said going to work and you? I said I got out of psychology class so, I send him a text do you buy book at library or online… He replied back at the library. Then I send him a txt are you still at work. He reply back I went there for little while. I said that I saw this nice car, he replied which one. Then I txt him blue mercedes.Do u think he REALLY like my entire prom
I told him that I like him and he said already knew it. Can you go to jail for bothering someone who is engaged to his cousin? I keep on texting that guy. He blocked and removed me from fb. Also his 28 yr old cousin threating me that he is going to report me to the police? Can that be possible. If he was already engaged that why did he put the effort to chat with me whenever i got on facebook and why he like my entire album. I was in the hospital for a week. Because I got so tensed that he does not speak to me anymore. I made my head hurt. Also 1 month ago he saw me on the highway i was going to college he was too. He speed up really fast infront me. then the next day i left early but he still catched up to me. Was he harassing me? Onetime he saw me in the cafeteria I did not see him. I went right pass him. Then after 10 mins I got on fb. He saw me I was on then he said oh my bad I did not see you. I wrote it’s ok i did not see you either. I am so used to chatting with him. That I want him to me my friend on fb we chatted 1 or 2 hrs. I help him so much that I text him that you should volunteer and tell him what class he shud take. Bc we are doin the same major. He already knew that I like him before I told him. His cousin and friends did too.
I am hydroceplaus and I made my head and shunt hurt. Because of him. I think I might have to go for head surgery if the pain does not away. About 5 yrs I been liking him. When it was valentines day i wish him and he wish me back happy valentines day to u to. Becuase of him I got shunt inflammation and i think i might have to go under head surgery. He deactivated his facebook acct. Is he playing with me?? I really like him. I dont get i feel something is gonna happen to me
