Open Question: Are digital cameras obsolete with phone cameras now becoming higher quality?
Well been facing some criticism lately, I bought a canon 300 elph hs recently and I am really happy with the quality of the pictures and it shoots 1080p and the night scenes are great but some of my friends are saying I wasted my money and should have just bought a htc android and could have had the same quality photos and edited them on the phone with software or something. I have a android phone though I use a older lg phone with 3.2 megapixel and don’t really want to spend so much money on a phone under contract that I only need to make phone calls with. Are cell phones really taking over digital cameras? It seems like there’s a lot of things a cell phone can’t replace like zooming or dedicated processor for the camera, specialty lenses, just in general even thought point and shoots are lower quality than a SLR I think still produce better images but are the days of camcorders and digital cameras in terms of the regular consumer market going to die out for cell phones to take over?

Open Question: HTC Sensation Battery issues?

Open Question: Buying an iPhone and some questions?
I really don’t know much about how iPhones, monthly plans, or even just cell phones work. All I know is that I want an iPhone 4S (just a regular 4 would be fine too) but I don’t want to pay the full cost for it. I’m pretty sure that with regular cell phones, you can just put your SIM card into another phone (provided it’s with the same carrier) and the new phone you put your SIM card into should work just fine, with your current number and everything. Will that work for an iPhone? Can I just buy someone’s old, used iPhone (if we both have AT&T) and I can just pop my SIM card in there and have it working? Or do I have to buy a completely new one? I’d much rather buy an old iPhone off someone if that will work.

Open Question: Do I stand a chance contesting this restraining order?
Alright first off I live in Oregon, I am saying that because there are different law’s for different states. So here is the story..

I am a college student (19 year’s old) and the girl who got the restraining order was my girlfriend for 3 years and is currently pregnant with my child, and no the child was not planed but he or she is a blessing.

So basically on the restraining order it asked her to fill out 3 area’s where I abused her or made her feel threatened.

1) I was Driving with my friend when the respondent called my cell and my friend answered it. The respondent threatened to kill my friend and showed up at my house looking for me. I was not home at the time. He told me he was going to my place of work to find me, but never showed up.

(now my side) We got in to an argument a couple day’s before and she wasn’t answering her phone or texting me back. She basically told me to man up for the child. So I did I went out and bought an engagement ring, flower’s, a car seat, and have been stockpiling diaper’s so when the child come’s we could be ready. I was at her house coming to apologize and to ask her to marry me. I was very nervous and very anxious. She wasn’t home so I called her to ask where she was. Some dude picked up the phone and basically told me to get bent and that she was with him now. I freaked out and yelled I was going to ******* kill him on the phone. After cooling down on the drive home I sent her a text saying if you are going to mess around please make sure he is using protection there is more than one of you now… That was very hard for me to say but I care for this child and the mother deeply. She responded with some nasty **** like he only has the curable **** and how she is pregnant already. I called her about 3 hour’s later and tried to just talk with her, he answered again wanting to fight and meet up at his house. I told him “dude, look I don’t want any trouble I just want to talk with her.” He told me to eat **** and crap like that so I hung up. I never said anything about going to meet up with her again! And I have text message proof!

2) I went to the respondent’s house to tell him I am pregnant with his child and he responded by holding me down on the couch and told me he wouldn’t let me go until I agreed to have an abortion.

(my side) This simply isn’t true, She told me through text message’s while I was working and have the pay stub with hour’s to prove I was at work and I still have the text’s.

3) Respondent and I were having dinner at a restaurant and while inside he called me a self-absorbed ***** because we went to the restaurant I wanted. I cried and went to the restroom. On our way to the car he told me I should go fall down a flight of stairs.

(my side) It was close to the end of the month (well in 2 day’s I got paid so was very low on $$$) and I just got out of one of my class’s and had a ruff midterm. We agreed to go to a cheap place because I had $35 (cash and card) and I still needed to get some gas before I needed to go to my next class. She call’s and say’s she is out front of some restaurant waiting. I told her to hold on I’ll be right there don’t go in. When I got there she was already inside and ordered, I told her I don’t have the money for this and reminded her that we agreed to go to a alot cheaper place. She started crying and went to the bathroom. When I went to pay I gave the lady all my cash and put the rest on card and my balance was than $1 dollar (which I have log’s of) I told her she can’t pull this crap I barely have enough gas to get to school and now I am broke. She freaked out, so to calm her I started making joke’s than I said one before we left saying “now don’t go falling down any stair’s beautiful”

4) When we started dating he was into drugs and told me he had quit (tobacco included) I found out he lied about the tobacco use and am concerned about other use.

(my side) The 3rd day when we started dating I had a drug test done in high school, and came up clean. She knew I smoked cigarette’s she even used to sell me them when she worked for her last job. She also smoked with me once when she turned 18. She wanted to try it so I decided what the hell you won’t like it try it. So I gave her a cigarette and she of course started coughing and hasn’t touched it sense. As for using any form of drug’s currently, I have never used any illicit drug while dating her and I am having a piss test done tomorrow at my doctor’s office to prove to the court I am clean.

(within 24 hour’s of ordering the restraining order she tried to contact me *and I took screenshot’s and log’s but never replied*)

Alright, now for you guy’s. Can you please tell me if I stand a chance? and why you think yes or no.

Hi everyone.. I have a question about a cell phone battery
I have bought LG Optimus 3d p920 and i think that the battery is too weak, I have found a much stronger battery on www.batteryupgrade.com and i’m thinking of buying it. My question is: Can i buy my battery now and start using it in about 6-9 months, will that affect its qualllity and indurance? Wil that affect it in any way?
PS. Does anyone have any expirience with batteryupgrade.com?

Open Question: My mother distributes money between me and my brothers sporadically, $10,000.00 to $20,000. 00?
I use this money to pay off debts that I have incurred throughout the year or years between. Credit cards, notes, appliances etc. Things that I have purchased for our family. I work. I pay for groceries, cell phones, and misc. thing for myself and our grown children and all of Christmas and birthdays. My husband pays for ALL big ticket items. My mom recently gave me another $10,000. and I have $6000.debt. My husband says I should give the money to him this time and that I am selfish and shouldn’t charge or purchase so much stuff.. When she gives it to me she says its to make my life easy and to buy myself something like a new car. (mine is 10 years old and I paid for it ) What do you think? Should I give it to him? Open Question: Should I accept a plea bargain OR go to trial?
Im 31 & have NEVER been in legal trouble until recently for 3 misdemeanors (DO, DV, and assault)/It involved my mother (51) & me.Since15 months old, I’ve had several chronic/medical conditions & I cannot work full time so still live w/ mom.Am on 4yr wait list for public housing, no other fam in this state or friends toe move in with.Emergency housing is temporaryMy entire childhood was tumultuous, volatile, and erratic, ; like Mommie Dearest. Anyway, my mom has been verbally and physically abusive most of my life.For 30 yrs, I mostly “bottled it all up” and never fought back, verbally or physically, until the past year.Just moved into house (this is in Arizona, if that matters legally) and Ive felt like she had been bullying me MORE since moving in as she had always smugly said its “her house, her regime” call the police any time she wants to kick me out because she’s “sick and tired” of taking care of me for 31+ years (and I totally sympathize with that. I don’t want her to either, but at the same time, I didn’t choose the hand I was dealt in life.Anyway FINALLY GETTING TO MY INCIDENT AND QUESTION…

That night she was in “nitpicky”, “adult bully” mode again. I could tell she was just “itching” for a fight & got what she wanted. She pushed me & pulled my hair so I finally pushed her back.When we sat at dinner table she said cruel things& started going into a literal SCREAMING RAGE!When she goes in to her screaming rages – and I literally mean “rages”; I am NOT exaggerating, I feel like going insane & out of my mind. This is how I felt then and so many other times before. (Trying to calm her down by asking her to “please stop & let’s just TALK about this” or “take a ‘breather’ and come back to it later”) only makes her scream LOUDER.Going to my room doesn’t work because she will pick the door & come after me again.I am taking 100% accountability for what I did next; when she went into a her SCREAMING RAGE again I felt so “outside myself”&crazy that I threw milk on her&then threw the glass in the opposite direction onto the wall it wouldn’t hit her.She then called police as she has always (I felt, dangled over my head like a carrot and used as emotional blackmail since I was 18) and I decided I didn’t want to live anymore, but NOT because of one argument; a culmination of many things COMPOUNDING together but this latest “blow-up” (out of MANY recent ones) just made me want to end it all because I felt nothing would ever change.I went into my room, got a gun & told her I was killing myself (I have had two prior suicide attempts, both unrelated to guns). (If this matters at all, I had bought guns, in the first place because of a guy who tried to bust down the apartment door when we first moved here).I was on my bed, deciding which gun to use to kill myself with (I had 3) and put a tiny .32 mousegun in my pocket, which weighs less than a pound. Then I decided to just take pills instead because I did not want ruin her brand new house.Before I had a chance to do that a policeman called me on the phone and tried to talk me out of suicide.He told me to just come outside and my me, mom, and some officers would talk and come to a resolution together. I did not really believe him, but I had a tiny ounce of hope that he was telling the truth and since that was what I REALLY WANTED – to just come to a resolution, I complied. He told me to come downstairs unarmed, except my cell phone (since we we’re talking on it), so I did, forgetting about the gun in my robe pocket the whole time, because I was so completely “taken in” by and in embroiled in the conversation with him, that seemed like an hour, that I didn’t even think about it. I came outside & saw a SWAT team, an armory truck, and all kinds of guns pointed at me, when I NEVER threatened to hurt anyone other than myself. That terrified me so I turned around and tried to run back in the house & hi&de. When I did that, SWAT proceeded to run after me and threw me down on the ground so hard, they broke my rib and almost my left wrist when I was RUNNING AWAY (I am 80 lbs, 5’2”; I do not think that was necessary, especially when I never threatened them and was running AWAY from them). I NEVER threatened anyone except for MYSELF. They then put me in cuffs and found the gun I had forgotten I had in my pocket, which – obviously – did not look good. They then put me in a police car and drove me to the Psych ER, which discharged me after two days because they deemed me as not a threat to anyone else & no longer a threat to myself. judge charged me with assault (probably for pushing my mom back), domestic violence (probably for the same thing and throwing the glass against the wall) and disorderly conduct. Therefore, I have 3 misdeanors total.

My mom told me that they said that if I plead guilty they would offer me a plea bargain and drop both the assault and DV charges against me and convict me of disorderly conduct only. I know of plea bargains from tv, but this is reality

Open Question: REALLY thin, basic used Verizon phone?
I currently don’t have a cell phone, so my mother has insisted on getting me one so she can reach me on it. I do NOT want to sign a contract right now, so I’m planning to buy something cheap that’s used. It doesn’t have to be new, or have any features; in fact, I would prefer that all it did was place calls, for the sake of simplicity. I have an iPod touch I carry for other purposes (including SMS and such), and a data plan is simply not an option right now.

For reference, The F3c MOTOFONE would have been ideal; unfortunately, they seem quite rare, and I’m not sure that even with it being the CDMA version, it would work anyway. Right now, the best option has been an old SLVR L7. Does anyone have an even thinner, smaller suggestion?

I also considered the RAZR V3c, but I’d really rather not resort to a flip phone, or a slider for that matter.

Remember, it HAS to be a Verizon phone. No GSM phones will do. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Sorry John, I was looking for VERIZON phones, not VIRGIN phones. And I’m not looking for a smartphone, as a data plan is not an option.

My sister’s 15 and she’s got a birthday very soon. My parents and I want to make a present and buy her a mobile phone. She’s killed Samusng Corby not much ago and uses my old Nokia now. Cell phone industry is so big that if I start searching now I won’t finish till her next birthday so I wanted to hear a quick advice from you. The only thing she needs now is a fast working phone with Wireless. She spends The whole day messaging or chatting with friends and listening to music while in the street or at home. In a word she uses the phone very hard and I don’t remember anything working fast in her hands. For sure She’ll need Bluetooth , mp3 and all the things like that. Open Question: California Cell Phone laws: Would using a “Moshi Moshi Pop phone” get me a ticket?
This question is for anyone who is either a California law enforcer, or have knowledge on California state rules.
There’s this new accessory called the pop phone. Here’s what it is:

My mom works on the road and needs to use her phone at all times. She’s gotten pulled over for cell phone use, and I wanted to buy this for her. She has bluetooth headsets as well, but they’re not comfortable and it gets lost easily.

So would this work as a replacement? Or can she still be ticketed for this?
This plugs in directly to the 3.5mm jack that comes standard on all smart phones. If it’s plugged in before she starts driving, would this be legal? There is also a button on the phone that can pick up and hang up calls.

Work, she has to do on the road because it’s dealing with customers.

Open Question: Should I allow my step-daughter to call her mom?
Long story short, my sd was brought her 12/2011 ro live with her father and I because of her behavior. Her mother couldnt deal with it, and the school she was goin to had banned her and she was set up to go to alternative school. Instead mom withdrew her and brougt her here to another state 2 hours away. She also wrote father out an paper giving him partial custody, to put her in school, government assistance, and it also stated he wouldnt have any cs obligation while in his care. Father typed me up a farm giving me rights to take sd to appointments and such in cases where he couldnt be present. Well sd has did nuttin but disrespect me since she been here. There has been so much drama late with her bio-mom that it has caused me to be stressed have anxiety, and some depression. This whole time I have only been here to help sd. This is technically my home because her father moved in with me about a year before sd got here. We only have cell phones, which the main on is is, that i bought and the only reason it is workin this month is because I payed the bill. Well her mother keeps callin but i dont want her to use my resources to talk to her daughter because she is allowing her daughter to treat me this way, she says I have nuttin to do with her, when its my roof she is under, i cook for her, wash her clothing, make sure she has essentials, go to the school everytime theres a problem and has been the one to have to take her to school everyday because she is in ISS an sign her in. I think in the last few weeks I have built up alot of hatred for her mother. My sd is on punishment for the last time she got put in ISS and recently out of school suspension. One of her punishment was that she couldnt have a cell, well when she came back from spring break with her mom, mom had gave her another cell that we wasnt pose to know she had. But she didnt plan well because she didnt send a charger so its dead. So because of these reasons I dont feel i should allow her to use my phone to talk to her mother specailly if her father isnt around! I dont think she should talk to anyone not even her while on punishment. Mom has made many threats to send police to house because no one is answerin or to come and get sd.. She is ruinin my life! I just want to know what you think of the situation? Can she use this against us in court, because we did file for custody of sd? I feel like she will be a better child is bio mom cant interfere. that lady loves drama, she calls cursing and everything, anyway what do you guys think?
NO!! He didnt divorce her mom they or never married. And he didnt leave her to be with me either, because she has 3 younger siblings on her father side, dat arent with her mother. So thats not it. Her mother and father hasnt been together for at least 10 years!!! She has been diagnosed ADHD & ODD!!! But biomom have some mental issues also.
And no she wasnt made to come down here, she had visited thanksgiving break and liked it, made friends and all. Her coming down here was something her mother and her came up with to beat the court order for her to attend alternative school which she didnt have to attend when she got here, she just got ISS and had to earn her classes back. And its not about her using my resources, she was fine the first couple of months, but its the fact that its my house, there are rules here in my house, and her mother snuck her a phone when she wasnt pose to have one, and still dont she is on punishment for her behavior until she gets out off ISS which is pose to be wednesday!! I love my stepdaughter, and had no problem with her mother, but it hurts me to see that mom is route cause of sd behavior, my sd would be good when there is no contact with mom then soon as she talks to her or some her whole mood/attitude changes! And it hurts me because I am tryna help her, I have 3 other kids that I have cus
We provid a phone for her, iwe are together so we split bills….its been hard for him to work and make money because of the way my stepdaughter behaves , he constantly gets phone calls from school and etc. while at work. Open Question: Can an off-contract Droid 2 be used as voice-only cell phone on Verizon?
I have Verizon’s family plan. I only have a voice cell phone. My wife has a Droid 2 with voice and data. She’s going to upgrade to the latest greatest and continue using data. Can I switch her old Droid 2 to my voice only plan as my primary cell phone without having to buy a data plan? I don’t need data, just want to use the Droid 2 as a cell phone. Of course, I’d like to use Android apps and use the wi-fi feature to access internet when wi-fi access is available. When there’s no wi-fi available, I’ll just do without internet.

I want it so that my wife has her new smartphone on her line with voice and data, and I have her old Droid 2 on my line with only voice service. Is this doable, and how?

Open Question: Does solar cells kill the lifespawn of batteries?
If I connected a solar cell to charge a battery, that I’d use to power up something in the same time, would that kill the battery?

Since it can only be charged 1000 times or so, would that like destroy the battery within two three years? I was thinking of buying a solar case skin for my brand new phone, but would that require me to change the battery within a few years?

I am Sikh Punjabi and he is Pakistani boy
He is junior in college and I’m sophomore in college.

He clicked like on my entire prom album not every picture but the whole album. On that same day I like only 2 pics of his?
He gave me his number when I asked him and I gave him mine but he did not ask .
I asked him why don’t have that many girls on FB he said he does not need girls? But I said why did u add me. I said I am your friend right….he said yea. I also asked him does he like chatting with me he said yea.
We were in same class in HS but not friends. I send him a FB request.
I wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a great one. He wrote thanks on his wall? that was the only time he commented back.
When it was Diwali. he wished me online and I said same to you…happy diwali.
So when it was EID he posted it on his status. Then I send him a message on FB. Eid mubarak and he said same to u eid mubarak.
On the first of college I saw him while I was going to my class. I waved at him and said Hi. He just smile walking down the hallway with his guy friend.

I saw him with my guy friend in cafe they were buying lunch. I did not see them until my guy friend said my name.But this guy just said wat’s up to me and smiled. I said Hi and waved at him. when I was in the library I speed walk by one room I saw him with his friends. I smiled at him. He smiled back.If I comment on his wall he does not comment back or delete those comments but leaves it? I just send him a message on FB to ask him what time should I call him tmr. He said he only messages girls and not talk with them on phone. I said to him don’t be shy from me. I said I used to be shy from you lol. I feel like you don’t like me and don’t want to be my friend. Then he said no it’s not and I am not shy
2 weeks ago I was driving on the highway to go college I think he saw me driving. he was driving fast.Then I send him message on FB. lolll I saw you today…you were driving fast. Were u getting late for ur class. After that I txted him on his cell and asked him did you get my message on FB. he said yea and he replied to the message. That’s just how I drive. After 1 hr he texted me on my cell wat car was I driving? I told him toyota camry. I said don’t you drive one too. He said yea and that was you? Just be careful cause there was a cop. Then I replied back to him.Thanks I will cya good night.

2 weeks ago I send him a text. I said Hey what’s up. He repiled back said going to work and you? I said I got out of psychology class so, I send him a text do you buy book at library or online… He replied back at the library. Then I send him a txt are you still at work. He reply back I went there for little while. I said that I saw this nice car, he replied which one. Then I txt him blue mercedes.
I told him that I like him and he said already knew it. He blocked and removed me from fb. If he was already engaged that why did he put the effort to chat with me whenever i got on facebook and why he like my entire album. Also 1 month ago he saw me on the highway i was going to college he was too. He speed up really fast infront me. then the next day i left early but he still catched up to me. Was he harassing me? Onetime he saw me in the cafeteria I did not see him. I went right pass him. Then after 10 mins I got on fb. He saw me I was on then he said oh my bad I did not see you. I wrote it’s ok i did not see you either. I am so used to chatting with him. That I want him to me my friend on fb we chatted 1 or 2 hrs.He already knew that I like him before I told him. His cousin and friends did too. I am hydroceplaus and I made my head and shunt hurt. Because of him. I think I might have to go for head surgery if the pain does not away. About 5 yrs I been liking him. When it was valentines day i wish him and he wish me back happy valentines day to u to. I feel like he is lying to me that he is engaged? I really him that i ruin my health.i said to him that he shud break his engagement he said did not have a choice?? then after 2 weeks I said again then he said i am gettin marry to my choice. lol marry cousin gives birth defect kids????? He said to me that he does not give a **** where i am born, you ****** don’t get it, i’ll ruin your life. I know why he said those things because maybe he thinks i am to good for him? Open Question: Why is my memory card saying it’s full?
I’ve asked this question before, but I didn’t mention that it was for my cell phone. peopleI I think people gave me instructions for the computer..
or, I’m not sure.. but.
either way, I had a 8GB memory card, and it said almost low on space, so I bought a 16GB micro sd card for my Samsung Admire (with Metro PCS).. I’ve already transfered everrything I had onto this phone.
and it was good and I had lots of extra space.
I’ve just connected it to my laptop, and it says it’s 14.8GB (WHY, I thought I bought a 16GB memory card?? >:( ), and it says I’ve only used up 11.9GB…

so since it looks like I have tons of space to use..
WHY does it keep telling me that I’m low on space?? >=/
can you help me look for the files that might be taking up space on my phone, or something.. ?

I am hydroceplaus and I made my head and shunt hurt. Because of him. I think I might have to go for head surgery if the pain does not away. About 5 yrs I been liking him. Open Question: ladies…. help me understand?
now here me out i need to know the story is ok my wife is upstate and im back downsouth we had to separate because we always argue and fight and we have two kids 2 and 3 yers old not too long ago we just finish going to court for minor assault on her i press charges on her for fight with me and left me we a scar on my face and trust me its been happening since i meet her…i dont hit her but i push her on the ground we have kids dont want my son or daughter to see that….any ways i left my wife because one were married and two because she always want to argue with me..i mean i did eveything for her…but when we move to nj from nc we stay at her family house and for a while she like being there but i wasnt happy because i didnt know them now the reason we was there because i lost my job in nc but it was cool becuse i got offer a job within 2-weeks being there but on our way to nj i was driving to fast and my license was suspended (damn virginia cops) so i couldnt go to the interview but i ask my wife to take me there she said no…she didnt want to leave the kids in the house with the her family husband and she didnt want to take the kids with us to the job so i can start working so we dont have to be in the program she said forget. no. so we ended up in the housing program and receive food stamps we left her family member house and into a housing program for a while and she had to go to a program to make sure she recieve money on the card everyday but the program also gives her a change to pay for her school to be a nurse..but she have wait for sometime to be accepted first…but i told her it will be a lot easier when we file for income tax because we was going to get a lot a money so use the money to pay for the school that way u dont have to wait for no one…and get started early she said no and made up some excuse…anyone as time past us by in the program for 3months she started meeting new friends and hanging out…now this part gets weird when she started meeting new friends they was hanging out in the program after the program and even on the weekend i didnt care but i was at home babysitting the kids..dont really bother me..but when she comes home i want to step out to the library and she come with excuse that she too tired and i have to wait i mean it happens ever time she comes back from the program..i mean i stay home i cook for her and the kids so she dont cook i dont mind but evertime i get to tired and ask her to cook she comes with excuses and saids no or i cant or i want to order something…but at the same time gets upset that she spending money. ok so one day she saids to me i going out this week end with my girls and party but im not coming home until the next day…i said ok..why she said because they are going to be drink heavy i said what ever and she left and she didnt come home until the next day and then next week she did it again didnt come home until the next day.. i mean when she says she with her friends she once came home with a new bag and new pants i said where did u get this from she said from my home girl i said ok but whe i wanted to buy u a new bag u said no…so your friend gives u a bag and u accept..nah but then she has a cell phone the only cell phone in the house she has it block i ask for the password she said no…i said why she said no and thats that…she didnt go out for a while be she did hang with her friends and then one night someone call i didnt know who it was so i hung up and then she said who it was i said i didnt know and then she pick up and it was her friend started talking to her i said how come the person wasnt talking when i was on the phone. we started agruing i was going to make a call on the house phone but she pull the cord and snap it and i wanted to use her cell phone but she fought me to it..next thing i know im calling the cops on her..for hiting me…and spit in my face..the rest is at the top of this page about the court but didnt press charges…any ways we have one car but she uses it and i left because she went out on the weekend again after a few weeks have pass she went out again and this time i didnt see her until the next day in the evening..i told nah its not right your married and your spending more time with your friends or friend then your own family or better yet me..and then u alway agrue with about i dont do anything for u or i dont give u much attention which is complete bullshit..i always give her attention and want to buy her tthings she keeps saying no or i dont need it…but i told her im leaving her…and i did she cried for a while but then ask for child suport the day i was going to leave..ladies help me im i wrong ladies what do u thing she doing im sister and mother said shes cheating or messing with some other dude i dont know i do misss her and my kids but i dont want to go back knowing that it just going to be a agrument later on down the road ladies help me please i lost…

Open Question: Will my parents buy me a smartphone?
I really want a smartphone, but my parents are really cheap, I’m lucky they buy me shoes! I told them I would be less “high maintenance”, and won’t expect as much video games. I want the Samsung Replenish, it’s one of those “free phones” with a plan. I told them they can cut my minutes, or messaging limits. They said “If I get straight A’s.” I’m working my butt off and getting mad. I was gonna want it for my birthday. And cut off crap I don’t need. I have YMCA Leaders Club, so volunteering. Then over that I have my diet, and working out, then basketball team. Then, DANCE. I’m just working too much. I deserve a bit more free time too, and I would want to get that phone. She also doesn’t know I have a life away from the court, gym, the Y, and dance floor. I would love to hang out with friends more. My old phone SUCKS. I hate it, I have like 25 mins per month. That is not enough, and it doesn’t even TEXT! Not even touch screen. She knows I want a cell phone, and/or smartphone. I never tell my friends my number, because, I talk for HOURS, and hours, and my minutes ran out once, I got so MAD!
I’m gonna sell some stuff I don’t need. So I can afford it, because I’m buying it in store. And it doesn’t have $50 in web savings. I should just get it online..

I understand she wants to save a bit more this year. So just in case. But she already has $9000 in her “emergency” account at the bank, and “the money drawer”. which now have $800,

The reasons I need a cell phone that really WORKS is because. The bus driver normally pulls us over, and threatens us. So just in case we are there for over a half an hour. I would call her, tell her to drive to a certain stop, and i will write a fake note, saying I would get off there today. I have like 5 notes in my backpack saying I will get off here or there. And by the time she gets it, we were back on the road, and I was in the house.

They are so cheap, but I love them and care for their opinion. So I would sell things, make my own money to pay the bill if I had to. I deserve a new phone more than my brother does. He expects more than I do, does less chores, and stays in his room unless Hockey or NASCAR is on. And he wants a $300 HTC EVO 3D.
I need that phone, and during spring break, I was stuck using the YMCA phone (when i was volunteering), and I was so tired. And it took 5 minutes to connect.
I need a new phone. I love my parents, and help them a lot. There is NO way I can get straight A’s and S’s with my sleep schedule and my gym, volunteering, basketball, dance, and studying. I would love it for my birthday. But I would love to get it ASAP. How can i prove to them i can get it and make sure I am careful with it?

The bf of over a year and I are expecting a child in May. We are buying a house together. Lately we have been at each others throats (more so I am after him). A few things we have argued about it…sex maybe once a week then he sometimes cant get off, me “moving around in the bedroom to get dressed and using my cell phone as a light”, and him wanting to sleep a lot. Open Question: AT&T is getting sued. Who else is interested?
I was a cell repair tech back before I-fads and douche-screen phones. Back then, you bought a GSM SIM chip and used whichever one of your 30 phones you felt like using that day. Just like a home phone line, you pay for the service, not the hardware, and Ma Bell’s satanic children couldn’t even restrict you to a single handset,or tell you which compatible models you could and couldn’t use, because its a service your buying,not a product.

NOW, ATT’s policy for their prepaid services is that, not only is the subsidized handset locked to ATT network frequencies (not specifically the company, but the same bands used) but the SIM itself is locked to the worthless free phone that came with the SIM card. This is illegal by my assumption, and sleazy business practice by common observation.

There reasoning behind this? Who knows. Its not making them more money, as no one is going to buy a devalued, retail ATT branded phone of their choice for the inflated ATT costs. No one smart enough to use prepaid plans at least. So instead of being forced, we are just going to switch services and ebay a phone that actually works like it should.

Problem is, where I live, ATT is the only service I can use. Dont ask why, its not productive to prove my thoughts invalid. The LAWSUIT comes from this idea: I was promised MMS, which I am paying for on a 29 day cycle (prepaid my ass). The facts are, the handsets used are so poor and out dated, that they cannot recieve 99.999% of the MMS messages sent to it. The messages are rendered completely useless, non-forwardable, simple un-accessable, lost to ATT’s ignorance and arrogance. This can cause stock markets to crash, buildings to explode, and children to die. You should be GLAD of my desire to prevent such things before they happen.

ATT, if you are listening, why have you lied about the capabilities of a phone whos hardware you do not own? The flash, flex and firmware,or whatever terms the kids are using these days is all you have. I have tried contacting you. Your retails sales reps are un-trained morons, and every other aspect of your customer ’service’ is a wild goose chase. All I want is a prepaid 850mhz phone on a plan that makes sense (ATT surprisingly comes closer than most) that I can use with whatever 850hz handset I want.

So who else wants a piece of the action? I’m going for 3 mil, punative damages. That should divide up nicely between a few hundred pissed off UNgO-Phone victims. Next time a ATT employee tells me I have never bought a SIM by itself and picked my own phone, I am going to punch him, and ATT is going to buy me Johnnie Cochran.

Thanks for the experience ATT, I guarantee its going to happen.

Resolved Question: is this a craiglist job offer scam?
Hello thank for getting back to me,
I will be offering you $400 weekly, I will be needing your services
for three hours at any suitable time of yours, Bi-weekly, on weekends,
either Saturdays or Sundays. I believe you are fit for this position
in as much you will prove yourself to be a reliable and good person.

We have a financier that is based in the states and he will be
handling the payment and some other expenses. So he will be the one
that will be taking care of your the payment. I will instruct him to
pay for the first month upfront before my arrival so as to secure your
service, actually i should have paid for more months but i will extend
the payment if am satisfy with your service after the first month.

My financier will be making out a certified check to you before my
arrival, you will be receiving an autorized Certified Check of $2000
out which you will deducting your pay for the first month and you will
be using the remaining to buy foodstuffs and other things needed in
the house. You will getting this foodstuff on the day of our arrival
which is 27th of March 2012. Actually all flights from the Australia
arrives at nights so you will be getting the foodstuff in the morning
and making all other preparations.

I will also instruct my estate agent to mail the keys of the apartment
to you so that you can do all other necessary preparations before we
arrive. I will also email you the shopping list. You have to get all
this shopping before our arrival so that we wont have to start running
around when we arrive. So my financier would be needing the following
Information to make out the payments.

Open Question: Calling home while on vacation…?
I live in the United States, have verizon wireless as my cell phone provider. I have an android… plan to buy the phone 4s around june or july. Im going to b traveling to the Carribean Islands in November. I would like to know what us the best option to be able to call home while I am gone using my cell phone… preferably to call another cell phone rather than a land line… I have looked at skype… but idk how it works… I mainly want to call my bf who doesn’t have a smart phone or a land line… can anyone please help or have any recommendations …
Yes ill b on vacation and should turn off my phone… being a mother I fell the need to b able to contact bf to c how everything is… there will b cell service. I was just hoping someone who traveled knew a healer way to call home… going through verizon wireless ill get charges 1.50 a min.
