Open Question: Free Calling & Texting App for iPhone?
So due to some complications my boyfriend and I cannot text using our cell phones or call each other. I have a Palm Pixi and he has the iPhone 4s. He and I both downlaoded the app TextPlus free. It allows texting via the ipod (which I have) and the iPhone. He was even able to call my cell phone using the app until just recently when it stopped allowing him to all me or me to call him back.

Is there an App out there that is free (or cheap) that the iPhone can download that will allow us to to text back and forth on my cell phone and unlimited FREE calls? This includes me calling him back.

Open Question: Why does my mother always blame me for things that are clearly not my fault?
Skip to the bottom if you don’t want to read these examples.

For example, she was looking for a job. I specifically told her NOT to use my cell phone number to make any calls or receive any calls. I told her this several times. Low and behold, a few days later I found out that she had given EVERY POTENTIAL EMPLOYER my phone number rather than the home phone number. I attend school from 9AM – 3PM. I cannot take a phone call while I’m in class. I actually got a call from Tim Hortons and gave them the home phone number. Apparently my mom was asleep at NOON and missed the call and therefore didn’t get the job. Then she yelled at ME! She does stuff like this all the time. What can I do about it?

Another example is when she was too lazy to get a job and couldn’t pay rent. We got kicked out. I had to go live with my dad for the summer. I left my puppy with my mom because my dad wouldn’t let me bring her. When I went back with my mom in September, my puppy was ruined. She HAD been very well trained and social. She was aggressive and wouldn’t respond to any commands. I fixed it to the best of my ability and went away for ten days during Christmas to visit my dad. When I got off the plane a few days after Christmas, my mom informed me that my dog had bitten someone and had been sent away forever and I’d never see her ever again. Then she blamed ME for not training the dog to be friendly. The dog WAS friendly before my mom just left her in the backyard for an entire summer! I wasn’t there for that summer because my MOM didn’t pay rent because she was too lazy to get a job and got us kicked out.

It’s just every little thing. Nothing can ever be her fault. Even dishes that SHE ate off of are my responsibility to clean. etc, etc… what can I do?

Open Question: Should I just not contact him at all?
I met this guy about 4 years ago in a
different country at a cycling race (we were both participants). We barely spoke that time but he was just a very kind man and assisted me in every single way.

Then, I ended up moving back home with my mother about 2 years ago and became a member at a nearby gym. It turned out that the man I met was coaching at this gym.

He became my swim coach and we got along just great. Everybody knew we were like buddies. All the other coaches knew and members. We exchanged cell phone and e-mail addresses but really only used it when it was necessary. He took me out to eat just once. The gym is extremely strict about coaches having personal relationships with other members. And please there was and is no romance involved.

Just recently, he got transferred to another branch but ever since he made the sudden announcement he started being very distant with me, so I was hurt but didn’t really let it get to me and just thought it’s life. He made it very clear by his actions that I was nothing near special to him and that he was also close with other members. He made it very obvious. I couldn’t understand. On his last day, though, I wrote him a short simple thank you letter and added that I’ve always wanted to be friends with him. That was all I wrote. When I handed him the letter I was filled with tears and I think he didn’t know what to say so he just kind of bluntly said (without much emotion) that this was not a goodbye but a see you next time and that we have each others’ contact info if anything.

My friend says she thinks he’s just having a hard time saying bye but I just don’t think so.

It’s been almost a month since he left, and I haven’t contacted him at all mostly because of the way he left it. I’ve heard that he keeps calling the branch and says he wants to come back. Should I just leave it the way it is? I don’t like to push things especially since he was treating me the way he did towards the end.

Open Question: Why would the phone battery start draining when its not being used at night?
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 for AT & T cell phone. I charge it at night and unplug it when it is 100% charged.

I have had the phone for about 3 weeks. I noticed that recently for the past two nights the battery level goes down to 34% at night when it is just sitting on my nightstand. I am not using it and I checked all Tasks are closed.

What could be causing this? I tried to go to the AT & T store and they did not help.

What could suddenly be causing the battery to go down when its not being used at all? I adjusted the brightness and shut down all applications.

Open Question: Survey: hypothetical situation?
You awaken to find you have fallen asleep in a dark public library, you check your watch to find it is 12:15 PM.

You look around and see no other in sight, so you pack your cellphone and MP3 back into your backpack and decide to head for the entrance of the library only to discover the slide doors are locked.

You then feel the sudden urge to use the restroom so you head upstairs to the second floor and enter the restroom.

You set your backpack down and feel around the wall for a light switch flip it on then proceed to the farthest stall.

You take a seat and get comfortable on the toilet when you suddenly hear the entrance door to the restroom squeak from opening and the snap of the light switch as everything fades to black once more.

You remain silent as the restroom door finally slams shut…
you listen carefully as you hear footsteps enter the stall two doors down from yours, the stall door closes and the bolt locks.

You sit and wait quietly for about 10 minutes in complete darkness for the person to leave, but nothing…

you reach into you pocket for your cell phone, but realize you had put it into your backpack which you had left on the floor near the light switch… What do you do now?

Open Question: I know I’m asking again and again. it’s long..no one is answering PLEASE HELP. Will answer yours?
I KNOW ITS LONG BUT PLEASE BEAR WITH ME

ok so my ex used to like this girl before we started going out but she had rejected him and acted like a *****. she was his best friend and their friendship got ruined as well. we were together for an year until something happened and they started talking again. it was initally on facebook inbox. i knew his password, he knew mine. i saw that they had started talking again (it was a normal convo) but wasn’t liking it so i told him it hurt me. he told me that we both should change our passwords so that instead of spying on each other, we can build trust. he admitted that when he used to log into my account, he used to see texts from other guys and he used to feel bad even though he knew I loved him but he never told me cuz he didn’t want my friendship to get ruined. i was fine with it. i changed my password too. he continued talking to her on the inbox.
later she commented on his pic, he liked her status, she posted on his wall. it wasn’t anything flirty but he knew i used to hate it and i got jealous. he told me she had apologised to him for being a ***** last year and he said he had forgiven her cuz his hatred for her had gone as he had started loving me a lot. it wasn’t anything flirty but the fact that he kept commenting even when he knew i hated it killed me. he used to reassure me..i had told him 3-5 times that it bothered me but he didn’t stop. recently his mood hadn’t been good cuz he hadn’t done well in an important exam and i used to comfort him. so one day i sent him a text to cheer up his mood (he said his cell would be with his dad)..so i knew he wouldn’t reply. later i saw that he hadn’t replied to my text but he had commented on her pic (see it wasn’t anything flirty but i was possessive) and he had deleted the activity from his profile. i mean he had the time to login to facebook, comment on her pic but didn’t have time to reply to me. i got mad and told him to call (he called me instantly..he had his phone cuz his mom wasn’t there). we argued and he told me he had deleted it cuz he knew i felt bad..then i accused him of seeing her pics everytime he logged in (the pic he had commented on was old). he got mad too and said he didn’t have to give me an explanation and kept the phone on my face. later i broke up with him on text. i apologised after 2 days but he wasn’t talking to anyone and he didn’t even reply to my texts. i had literally begged him to talk to me. when i apologised face to face, he said “(my name) it’s over..don’t bug me”. after that we didn’t talk for a week and when i saw him i acted like i don’t care.

later i texted him asking him if we could be friends and he said even he didn’t want us to act like strangers and after that i asked him to tell me why he didn’t give me a closure and he said it was cuz i didn’t trust him. he said that he understood my insecurity but he thought i would get used to it and i didn’t and went ahead and did something which killed what he had for me. he went on to say that ppl who know him well trust him blindly and if i knew him well i should’ve known that he wouldn’t leave me cuz of other girl. then he said he had nothing against me and still considered me a friend..but he said that he knew if we continued to be friends, i would suffer so it would be better if i cut off from him, to get over him..

the next day i saw him and decided to talk one last time and he said that i was the one who left him and i told him that even though i did break up, i have been running after him and apologising to him..then he said he can’t be with someone who doesn’t trust him. then he told me that i acted like i don’t give a ****, so why should he give a ****. he told my possessiveness had been troubling him since a long time. i told him i was ready to change but he told me to stick to my decision cuz even though it wasn’t easy for him, he had accepted it. i told him abt things which showed i care but he wasn’t ready to budge from his decision. and he told me to stick to my decision like 10 times and told me not to beg and keep my ego.

It’s time to move on, I know but the other girl still keeps posting on his wall and he still likes her pictures. I know they are talking and maybe they’ve become best friends. It kills me and makes me feel he was cheating all along and he left me for her even though I loved him so much

What do you think? Do you think he was actually cheating or they’re just friends?
I know it’s kinda weird to ask but I just need your opinions.

Open Question: Lanlord isn’t returning calls about broken garbage disposal…?
Our garbage disposal is broken. I called the landlord about it weeks ago. He said that he wanted to come out and look at it before he hired a plumber. At the time, it was only leaking. Now the disposal won’t run. We can’t use that side of the sink because it leaks water. When the dishwasher runs, water backs up into the sink and slowly drains. We have a bucket under the sink to catch water. Our apartment has a sewer odor, and I believe that it’s coming from under the sink.

When I called the landlord weeks ago he said that he wanted to look at it first and see if he could fix it himself. He said that he would call and come out that weekend. I don’t have any missed calls from him. I have called him a few times a week. I have left at least four messages. I even got his wife’s cell phone number from one of the other tenants in the building. Their son lives in this building and said that they get off work at 5:00.

My father-in-law offered to buy us a new disposal if we pay him back. My husband wants to leave the landlord a message saying that if we don’t hear from soon that we’re going to get a new disposal and deduct it from our rent. I don’t think that will go over well with the landlord. What if we get the new disposal and still have issues? But what other option do we have to get this resolved?

Ok well I left my house because my mom found my bong and my brothers weed shit. They found my smoking stuff about a week ago an i have quit since then. Open Question: Girlfriend might be cheating…….. thinking of a cell phone spy software?
So I have been with my girlfriend for a year now and I love her to death but there has been some odd stuff going on that are just not sitting well with me. She has a few “GUY” friends that I am not too sure about and just rub me the wrong way (one is an ex boyfriend that 100% wants her back!). Anyways Im thinking of getting some sort of sell phone spy software but it is hard to tell the fakes from the real ones. If anybody has used this kind of software in the past please give me the name of the software so I can check it out. Website and testimonial couldn’t hurt haha. Thanks! Oh by the way she has cheated on at least one guy in the past so that is way I am kind of worried.
Also money is not a huge issue because I want something that WORKS! So don’t be afraid to suggest higher end software. I mean I obviously can not be dropping a lot on this but I would say that I would be willing to pay maybe up to $200 for something that will do it’s job. Thanks again!
Also I am a decent enough boyfriend and I treat her right. We do a lot of activities and we are always having fun. Anyways I am not looking for relationship advice! If she does not want to be with me anymore I can handle it. However what I can not and will not stand for is cheating so that is why I would like to know about the software. Anything else will be ignored.

I am a first year engineering student.
I am using N97mini right now.
And it is really effed up,
My birthday is coming on 12th april
I have a Budget of Rs.50,000 i.e about $1000
And i am looking forward to buy a new cell phone.
Now my question,
Should i go with Galaxy note
Or should i wait to buy iphone 5?
Or suggest any other?
I am looking forward to Autocad and other features too which will come in handy for an engineering student for few years at least.
Budget is quiet flexible with $250 here and their.
I am not really a tablet guy since i have a great laptop (Dell XPS15) already.
So please suggest me something that i wont regret later.

Open Question: does this cell phone charge make sense?
I set up my phone mar 26 at around 1pm and it took around 2 hours to get it done because i was going from rogers to fido (same company). The man told me this is the last day of your billing cycle you only have 1/30th of your data to use..do not set up your phone on 3G. It is an iphone so i have to set it up to even be able to use it. I turned it on, typed in my default wifi password and set it up via wifi. I disabled 3G connectivity. I get my statement this morning for the 1 day plus 1month and they told me i went over by $11 in data on the first day.the lady on the phone said she would not reverse it and she would not forward me to a supervisor. How did they come up with this?
Oh and in the three days since ive been on the net quite a few times and i have not even used 3/4 of one mb!

Open Question: Does anyone’s iPad 3 not stream videos properly?
I have been trying to view videos thru YouTube on my iPad 3. Every time I try to watch a video thru YouTube, the video constantly freezes, I try to pause it and wait til the whole video is downloaded, but it is REALLY REALLY slows. Is this a problem with the iPad or my internet connection?

I currently have a modem attached to my desktop and have 2 laptops, 2 tablets, 1 VoIP phone and 1 printer that are always connected to the wireless network. We bought this modem in 2008, and have been using it since then. We also have 4 cell phones that are sometimes using the network. Is this the problem or is there a dproblem with my iPad.

The videos are playing fine on my laptop though. Please any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers
Btw, everything else plays fine on the iPad, it does not heat up and I have no problem connecting to the Internet using wifi, I can browse pages and if the video isn’t too long even that streams fine

Open Question: My only friend, my BEST friend lives hours away from me?
my best friend moved away about 4years ago and I haven’t made any friends since. on the weekends I go to my moms house so I don’t see her very often and our schools breaks never interfere with eachother only christmas breakand I can never go down cause I’m with my mom that whole 3 week break. and I can’t make any friends I used to have another but, she and I have drifted apart at luch I have a group of people I sit with but if I don’t get there fast then its always “no that seats saved for Nikkie” or Breana or Brittney or Ashley. The only time I like lunch is when I have assigned seats or isolated luch in the classroom. I can’t make friends I have people that talk to me and text me but they never hang out with me or do anything with me, Everyone else makes fun of me and it sucks, no guys will talk to me. Not even the ones who have no friends.one time I went to sit down and everyone at the table left and then other people came and they left too once they it was me. I used to be popular but they revealed my deepest darkest secrets to the whole school and kicked me off the basketball team (at my school your only popular if your on the girls basketball team or the football team if your a guy) Actually my so-called best friend ditched me at a football game and went home with another girl and I had to walk along the highway home, because my cell phone died and no one would let me use their phone.btw I was walking home at 11 p.m. a teenage girl. How can Ivmake friends I am really nice and never said anything mean to anyone because I don’t know what they’re going through so I NEVER make fun of people. I don’t see why people don’t like me.
