Open Question: what basic cell phone should i get?
i want a simple phone to use in the usa. will probably rarely (yes i know. i’m a dinosaur) take it out of the house. will want to use it like a land line. good call quality would be the main importance. dont know what company i would use for my server.
features wanted would be caller id (automatic i think) and a speakerphone for when i’m on hold.
dont care for a camera, connecting to internet etc.
also, can i have an ‘answering machine’ type of service so i can screen calls and callers dont have to go thru press 1 if…press2 if…etc.

Open Question: Will an iphone work…?
This is probably a dumb question…
Cell phones do not work in my home at all. Zero bars. Nada. If I have to make an urgent phone call, I have to stand in one corner in my house, but the signal usually dies before the other person answers my call.
Let’s say I got an iphone. I’m aware that I probably won’t be able to use it for phone calls while at home, but does the zero bar factor mean the internet on the phone won’t work either?
Just curious.
I do have a landline!
Open Question: T-mobile cell phone users.?!?
My ex already had a cell phone contract with t-mobile, he had a BB & added me on his plan & got me a BB too. Now we aren’t talking anymore & i love the phone i don’t want to have to get rid of it. But now i can’t use it because i suppose he won’t be paying for it. Or want to keep paying for it if i’m using it, & plus we aren’t talking. The account is suspended now because it needs to be paid. My question is what are my options to do with it.? Is there anyway i can get off his plan & keep the phone & ever get it in my name.?
