Open Question: Changing incoming mms limit, iPhone 3G S on T-Mobile?
i have a 32Gb 3G S unlocked and jailbroken for use with T-Mobile. i also do not have a data plan, but even still, i am able to send mms by manually entering the required digits in Cellular Data Network, in settings>general>network>cellular data network.
i can send pictures taken on my iphone (3mp) fine, and even 5mp shots taken by a camera app (i have confirmed that these are 5mp shots)
but when a friend tries to send me pictures from her phone (samsung eternity, which has a 3MP and a resolution of 2,048×1,536) i get the a message from the network saying,”The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction.”
is there any way i can remove the message size restriction?

here are my settings:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username:
Password:
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size:
MMS UA Prof URL:

i see the field that says max message size, but doing a little research, i found out that the number is not simple. entering “100kb” will not register…
again, i need the max number for T-Mobile USA.
and any other suggestions would be great, this is really frustrating.
