Open Question: Samsung omnia i900 users?
Okay i have a BIG problem. I have a samsung omnia i900. and i have no idea have to use it. this is my first touch Screen phone. and it sucks because its a tough phone to figure out w/o instructions. but okay.. when i purchased the phone they just gave me the phone and that’s it. and the box. and they wrote my number on a small sheet of paper. i went on the internet and looked for instructions and got them… found out some new things. BUT from me messing around trying to “Figure out” things i done blocked the internet some how…using “cellular line” …. do u think if i reset the hole phone everything will go back to the way it was when the people gave it to me? or should i try something else….PLZ help cause i love this phone and i hate that i have all these things i can do but don’t know how or cant cause my internet is screwed….*( oh! and yes i do pay for my internet)* and yes i went to the place to ask for the booklet and everything but then they said that the phone was “USED” and when i had bought the phone they never said such thing if they did i def. would not have bought the phone!!! i mean the phone cost me about 312.00 dollars i didn’t even expect it to be used being that price!! but anyone have ideas?

You just purchased a cellular phone and are trying to decide the best cellular phone company in which to give your business. When you contacted the Talks-A-Lot Company, they were offering a monthly plan of $40 for 500 minutes and $0.25 for each minute exceeding the 500 minutes. In the Sunday paper you see an ad for the Chat-Away Company, which offers a monthly plan of $35 for 500 minutes and $0.30 for each minute exceeding the 500 minutes. How many minutes would you have to talk over and above the 500 minutes for the cost to be the same with both companies? What would be the equal cost?

1.Set up a linear system consisting of two equations. Assume you will talk for a minimum of 500 minutes. The first equation would be for Talks-A-Lot. The total cost, y, equals the base fee plus cost per minute times the number of minutes exceeding 500 minutes. The second equation would be set up just like the first, only you need to use the information for the Chat-Away Company.

2.Solve the linear system using the substitution method. Please make sure to solve for x and y both (show all work).

3.Answer the questions, in a complete sentence.
A.How many minutes would you have to talk over and above the 500 minutes for the cost to be the same with both companies?
B.What would be the cost when the minutes are the same?

4.If you plan to talk for 700 minutes, which company should you hire? Please show your total cost for Talks-A-Lot and Chat-Away Company to prove your answer.
