Open Question: Stumped on which Android phone to purchase to replace my iphone 3g.?
Please no AT&T network bashing and fan boy antics. I’m just looking for different perspectives on choices i am looking into. So, Ive been a fan of smartphones since the Iphone was first released.
One of the major factors in my decision to give up on the Iphone family is the recent update has caused my 3g to become very sluggish and worthless at best. It takes almost a full minute and half just to begin texting. Loading up my emails and safari web browser is even worse. Sometimes I have to reboot the phone just to use it normally. I even contemplated upgrading to the Iphone 4. To be honest Im not that impressed. The screen is awesome and the speed is better but thats it. No customization is allowed without ‘jail-breaking’ the phone.
So with my frustration in Apple’s phone lineup and the recent Android invasion Ive been playing around with a few of the android powered phones that are offered on AT&T and other cellular networks. Not to be drawn in by the hype but I am very impressed.
Since I am with AT&T my only choices for the time being are the HTC Aria and the Samsung captivate. I like both but HTC seems to have a better grasp on the touch screen interface than Samsung and most others. So now to the question/debate.
If I stayed with AT&T would the Aria be a good choice? Even if the phone is physically smaller and sporting the lowest processor of the android family? Would an ex Iphone supporter be pleased with the features of the Aria? Is it worth sticking with AT&T in hopes better Android phones appear or should I drop the company and go with Verizon or sprint? I’m really persistent on ditching the Iphone for better of the Android powered phones.
Whats your thoughts and opinions. Id like to stick with AT&T since I get a company discount but willing to switch in effort to get Android fever. LOL Thanks.
Open Question: Emailing to my phone?
How do I email my phone? My carrier is Us Cellular and I use a LG.
Open Question: What does this dream mean? Why did i visualize my friends that way, and why did they laugh at me?
OK, SO I had a dream that I was at home reading “The Wizard of Oz.” Suddenly, the winds picked up and i heard my family screaming to get in the basement from downstairs, but before I could run down to join them the rpof of my house ripped off. I was blown away as a tornado zoomed through, I saw my house splitting in half as I flew into a mass of swirling winds. When I awoke, I was in a magical land of a pink sky and five different-colored sidewalks. A nice witch (Who looked like my crush Lucy) told me I had to take the yellow sidewalk to get home. i followed it to a cornfield, where I saw a scarecrow who resembled the class brainiac Sebastian. He sang to me with the crows about how he wants to be cool, so I let him come along with me to go see the wizard. Next we came to a metallic man made of iPods, Computers, and cell phones, who looked surprisingly similar to my local video-game and electronics freak Danny. He wanted to be able to spend more time with sports rather than video games and electronics. So he came along, too. When we got to the forrest, we saw tons of trees who looked like the local bully John, all of which I cut down, and Sebastian and Danny thanked me. Soon, Sebastian droned on and on about cellular respiration and stuff like that and we were all bored to sleep. When we awoke, a lion was going to eat us, but he admitted he was too scared, and he looked like my cowardly orphaned best friend Michael, and he came along with us. Along the way, we had to crack an electronic safe (Thanks Danny) perform in a trivia show (Thanks Sebastian) and defeat soldiers (Thanks Michael), but I kept keeping them along. When we reached the wizard who resembled my Language Arts teacher, She told them they were all already great, Sebastian was genius and could be cool depending on how he used it, Michael was very brave himself, and Danny’s love for electronics was proven helpful. Then I asked, “What about me? What about me?” Lucy entered, along with flying Koalas, and they all laughed at me, and I wailed, “But I helped you all!!! What about me? What about me?” And they kept laughing, all of them, and I realized I was wearing a light blue dress, and then I awoke, what does that mean?
